decent stay, some issues
snack selectionshower wallthin walls
the pantry was a nice touch. i liked the selection of snacks available.
I found hairs on the shower wall. it was quite off-putting, and made me question the overall cleanliness of the room. also, the walls seemed thin. I could hear people walking by in the hallway, disturbing my sleep. it was quite expensive for the experience.

The room had a record player. it was an interesting touch. i also liked that they provided fresh milk in the fridge. the breakfast selection was good. It was a great start to the day.
The room felt quite small. i could not open my suitcase fully. the lighting in the room was dim. I found this frustrating. also, i noticed a service charge when ordering drinks outside even though i was staying at the hotel.

the decor inside is gorgeous. our room has been well stocked and very clean. the bed offered extreme comfort. the complimentary pantry was a fun extra.
The room was slightly compact. A suitcase barely fit when opened.

the breakfast lounge is relaxing with its atmosphere. pearly cow provided an amazing breakfast. bartenders downstairs are very knowledgeable, serving a great variety of cocktails.

the hotel stands right on the promenade, close to the lanes. the seafront location allows quick access to a morning swim. the sea views from the room are fine to experience.

the staff was amazing. they was friendly, cute and helpful. the location is perfect. retro style.
the room was cold and WE discovered that the temperature panel on the wall had been deliberately overridden. when i mentioned this on check out, i was told it was up to me to ask for the panel to be re-enabled. it took the edge off what WOULD otherwise have been a very pleasant stay.

The pantry had help yourself goodies 24/7 that was a great idea
I found a service charge on the bill when ordering drinks outside even though I was a patron. The lighting in the room needs adjusting it was difficult to apply make-up as lights were quite dim. The mattress was not that great I kept rolling towards the edge.

The room size was definitely a letdown. i mean, i paid a decent amount expecting more space, but it felt cramped (honestly, like fitting into a sardine can). also, the staff seemed a bit green. They weren't terrible but lacked that polished service you expect. i think a bit more training would seriously help.
